Good snow on top, sulz down, beautiful weather and a cold moderate wind.
We went down over the Allalinpass to Taschalp. We planed to ski down by route 261d. But we didn't keep enough right after leaving the glacier and ended up in a dead end couloir around 2550m (see GPS track and pictures). Some people must have abseiled (sling) but we climbed up again. Instead of joining route 261d again by a blue-white track with cables and no snow we went up until 2900 and kept left (looking down) to join route 260b. This route has still enough snow all the way down (except a few short ski carrying passages).
So, after the glacier (3000m) the best option is to keep left and cross a first morena at 2950, ski down and cross a second one at 2700. In a wide left turn you reach the bottom of the valley. It's still possible to ski until 2250m, then with skis on the backpack to Eggenstadel (1900m).

Good, with some fresh snow, less ski-carrying.
Always be careful when following old tracks ;)!
