Routenbeschreibung
Sparrengrat (2092m)
Blood Moon
Description:
Cool Route, which provides interesting and compact climbing as well as chossy and botanic parts. Especially in the first 2 5c‘s, you think you could also climb the steep grass right next to you :D
Beside those pitches the climbing is various and interesting, from a nice ´dihedral´-crack, compact crimps to funky water grooves. The belays are often comfortable and due to the multiple gras ledges you dont feel so much exposure. But you top out at the ridge giving you a really nice finish.
Protection:
Well bolted with sometimes slightly runouts in easier terrain, but for 3 stars (in topo) the bolts are never really far placed and you always feel save!
Descent: Rappel down. Sometimes little bit exhausting because of the ledges, but works well. Even with 60m ropes we couldnt skip a belay (even though we tried once :D).
Be careful at the first rappel from the top, there is a lot of chossy stuff
Summary: Nice route with some adventurous feeling even though it‘s well bolted and not so exposed! Would reccomend it!
